WHO WE ARE
ABOUT CGMA
Coast Guard Mutual Assistance is the official relief society of the U.S. Coast Guard, established in 1924. Taking care of our own is what CGMA does. We help Coast Guard members and their families navigate financial challenges, manage everyday needs, and pursue education.
Everyone needs a helping hand at some point—even those who spend their lives helping others. We’re committed to removing the stigma around financial hardship, so everyone in our Coast Guard community knows that asking for help is a sign of strength.
